In the spring we moved to a townhouse in Fairfax City, VA after selling our long time home in Reston. Scroll back a few posts and you can read all the gory details. With the summer season firmly among us, we have been having the opportunity to get familiar with Fairfax City, and it’s becoming a very comfortable place for us. Now that we are firmly settled in our Fairfax City townhouse, the next focus is deciding where our next, and hopefully last home will be. The one thing that we are “fairly” sure of is it won’t be in Northern Virginia. With life beginning to return to some sort of normalcy in this post apocalyptic COVID-19 world, last week was my first travel experience for work since the pandemic descended upon us some 14 months ago. We were traveling to the world renown Greensboro, North Carolina for a meeting with a vendor to discuss the work they had been doing for us over the previous year and change. This weblog/site was erected primarily to discuss all things photographic. Well, as many folks experience, life has kinda gotten in the way of late. Luckily, many of the perturbations are working themselves out, leaving time and mental facilities available for the artistic pursuit of photography. Like virtually the entire world, I was sent home on March 19th and told to “Socially Distance” myself from others. OK; Interesting.
