After a prolonged session of navel grazing, I’ve doubled back on the thought of dumping WordPress.
Some discussion on reddit suggested Graphy for a theme. It’s current, well laid out, adheres to the latest Gutenberg stuff, and frankly I think it’s gorgeous.
Both Publii and Bludit showed promise, but neither has any semblance of support for issues. Were I starting from scratch, either would be fine.
I’ve got the text from the posts in WordPress ported over to both, but all the imagery still points back to the WordPress site. It would be a Herculean effort to migrate that over to either.
So, keep an eye out. There will be a transition shortly and then perhaps we can get this task checked off the list.
